Bro. Aaron Spencer named runner up at Fairmont Innovation Lab's Pitch Deck Event
On Tuesday February 25th, 2019, Fairmont Innovation Lab (FIL) in Boston Massachusetts hosted its Pitch Deck competition for their fall 2018 Launchpad cohort.
FIL Launchpad is a "customized program providing selected entrepreneurs with vital information through weekly presentations, peer-to-peer learning, mentor-ship, access to a variety of subject matter experts and a community of entrepreneurs. Participants will gain competency in idea validation, market research, pricing, sales, marketing, branding, finances, developing and delivering a compelling story and pitch.A maximum of 25 Finalists will be offered a spot in FIL's Launchpad cohort.
Recently, Bro. Spencer launched his company, AButter by Aaron, selling a homemade almond based butter. Bro. Spencer was inspired by healthy/ clean eating, and a need to have a product that he could use to help bring attention to various social issues facing America. Currently, Abutter features three flavors (Regular, Maple, and Honey), and is looking to expand to at least three flavors in the near future.
The entire fall 2018 cohort presented their businesses in front of a host of judges, as well as close friends, family, and members of the community. Abutter by Aaron was named as the runner up for the Fall 2018 Launchpad best presentation.
